Never Mind the Bollucks odd facts:
- It was recorded in fits and starts in a high-end studio. Contrary to the band's raw, anti-establishment image, the album was recorded at the expensive, state-of-the-art Wessex Studios, which featured top-tier equipment like 24-track 3M tape machines and custom Cadac consoles. The sessions were booked sporadically over a nearly year-long period when manager Malcolm McLaren could afford them with cash, not in a continuous block as was common practice.
An 11-track misprint became a rare collectible. The album was rushed into production to beat a competing French release that included the song "Submission". Virgin owner Richard Branson pushed for a quick UK release, and an initial batch of around 10,000 copies erroneously listed only 11 tracks on the back cover, but actually contained all 12 songs on the record itself, making this initial version a sought-after rarity.
